Sunpaw walked into the clearing after a silent night aside from crickets chirping. She stretched out her legs and squinted. Across the clearing she saw kits playing, play-tackling eachother. That was me a few moons ago... She said. She desperately misses being able to curl up against her mother's warm tummy. Sunpaw would be just in the middle, and after a few mintues she would be sleeping...

Sunpaw came back from her day-dreaming and walked over to the pile of fresh-kill. "Hm... No squirrel today." she said, disappointed. She leaned over and grasped a magpie in her jaws. Sunpaw was hungry, especailly since she hadn't eaten after training yesterday. Her stomach grumbled, and this time it sort of hurt. As she sat down, she took a huge bite out of it. Her mouth was watering so much, she was literally drooling like a dog! She took another bite, not having yet finished the other one, and chewed and chewed and chewed. She took another crunchy, munchy bite. She was tired, so she went beside the entrence of the apprentices' den and dozed off, the sun blazing it's hot rays on her shiny, glistening, well-groomed pelt. Her bright blue eyes shut as she took in a deep breath. She let it out, and everything was dark. She was asleep.

I know it's weird to sleep in the middle of the day, but let's just say she's/he's exhausted. ((Lol, it took me 4 tries to spell exhausted right.))

The night was still young, and yet all of the other apprentices were already asleep and snoring, filled with dreams of juicy mice and running wild with no boundaries. Eaglepaw stretched and stood, carefull to step over the bodies of his fellow apprentices as he made his way outside.

The air outside was biting, a stark contrast to inside the dens, with all their thick coats and body heat to keep warm. A few minutes out here and Eaglepaw's whole body was numb, and why wouldn't it be, it the middle of leaf-bare? He nearly snuck over and stole some fresh-kill, his stomach was growling so loudly, he hafl-expected the entire Clan to wake and chase him away.

But, with a little work, Eaglepaw was able to ignore his stomach, just like he learned to ignore the other senses. 'But I should get in soon. It's mouse-brained to stay out here, and yet...' The piercing cold was almost soothing, and yet exhilerating.

The grey warrior closed his eyes, what if he slept out here? What if he learned how to survive in harsh weather? But then, what was the point? Why look for danger when there's a cozy den to rely on?

With his eyes closed, his oher senses became more alert. The freezing air numbed his nose, and the roof of his mouth was filled with the scent of moisture, it was going to snow soon. 'Well....time to go' Eaglepaw stood, and watched a single snowflake wander down from the skies above, a thing of mytery and beauty.

Tigerpaw padded over to the small pond. As he walked, he looked into the small stream that fed the pond. "Wow..." he whisperd.
As he cotinued to walk along the stream, he watched the fish that were acompianing him for the walk, except that they were swimming. Their gills shined in the warm, bright sunlight. He stopped, but, the fish didn't. He ran up the stream ahead of the fish, awaiting them.
He shot out a paw but missed and only scared the fish away from the stream's side for a moment of two. When they came back, it was time for a second attempt. "Gotcha!" he meowed. Once again, another failed atempt. It was about four or five trys until he succeded, and after swalowing his fish whole, he had arrived at the pond. "Finally!" He jumped in with a splash. It was the perfect plan to cool down on a hot Summer's day.

CURRENT PLOT:

For years, the four tribes of ThistleClan, ThornClan, FeatherClan, and MarshClan have lived in almost perfect harmony, the most danger to them were the Two-Legs monsters, and the occasional fox or badger. But soon, strangers come to the forest, organized into a large group and calling themselves BoneClan. Ominous, no? BoneClan wants to join the forest, but wants to stay as the Clan they arrived from, and the original Clans decide to think it over. Tensions build as cats are split from being hospitable and hostile. Four Clans was how it had always been, why change? But BoneClan is perfectly nice, why not? The prey is plenty, the water runs endlessly. And what would StarClan think? Well, four apprentices mysteriously dissapear without a trace, one from each Clan. BoneClan? Couldn't be. They were heading towards the mountains, with no signs of a stuggle. Something strange is happening. Eaglepaw, Tawnypaw, Sunpaw and Tigerpaw have been sent strange dreams. Something urges them far past the boundaries of their homes. Meanwhile, Clan tensions are growing, unexplainable things are happening, all around the time BoneClan showed up. Coincidence? What is the truth behind this strange new Clan? Have StarClan sent these young apprentices on a mission, and if so will they be back in time to save their homes?
